The Republican Agenda
Edited on Wed Nov-30-05 12:15 PM by LSK
The Republican Agenda is about money. Money for a select few. Why do you think they offer a tax cut for the rich in a time of war? Why do you think our deficit has skyrocketed? Why do you think we invaded Iraq where it is now proven that there were no links to Al Queda, there was no WMD, Saddam was not a threat. Why havn't we caught Osama bin Ladin yet. Why did Bush ignore the August 6 memo right before 9/11 about Osama determine to attack inside America possibly using hijacked airplanes?

War is big business for a select few. Say a bullet costs $1 to manufacture. You are a bullet company. Well if your guy gets elected in office, and a war is started, now you sell the bullets to the government for $10 each and as long as you give the politician $2 from each bullet, he will prolong the war indefinately. He will even create false boogiemen to scare the people into favoring a war. The communists were boogiemen for years. The vietcong were boogiemen. Saddam was a boogieman. Now the terrorists are boogiemen.

The boogieman is going to kill all us Americans, so we better start a war to protect all of you. But the meanwhile, all the politicians and defense contractors can get rich making bullets for $10 each all paid for by the American taxpayers. It is a great scheme and the Republicans have perfected it.

Dont believe me?

Please explain to me how the national debt skyrocketed during the Reagan years? Star wars anyone?

Please explain to me how the deficits were eliminated during the Clinton years? There were no boogiemen during the time.

Please explain to me how the deficits have gone crazy since Bush has been in office?

Please go review who gave money to "Duke" Cunningham, the Republican congressman who got busted this week for taking money from DEFENSE CONTTACTORS.

Please explain to me how billions of dollars earmarked for the Iraq war are now missing?

Please explain to me Halliburtan?

The Republican agenda is simply ROBBING the American citizens of their money.

How patriotic is that?

The Republican mantra has always been "Smaller Federal Government". Back in the good old days, a Republican's fundamental position was that power should be in the hands of state and local governments.

Cut to: Today.

As Government services continue to fail on unprecedented levels, one solution to staunching the raft of failures is privatization.
