HELP! NOLA's former AAR station is NOW playing RUSH

Since Hurricane Katrina, folks in the metro New Orleans areas have had the "United Radio" Broadcast. This broadcast up until today has featured local hosts discussing recovery. Many stations were broadcasting it, including what used to be our Air America Station (oh so briefly)

Starting today, they gave the 11 oclock slot back to Rush on WWL 870...as a result PT (Progressive Talk) 1350 is now broadcasting RUSH LIMBAUGH.

Please call 504-260-1870 to complain. Rush is a divisive character (at best). His radio show won't help us down here.

It's very disappointing that you have made the decision to air the very divisive Rush Limbaugh show, especially at a time when the New Orleans area is still struggling, many in dire straits, from the hurricanes. Limbaugh is a hateful man, & make no mistake, he is not supportive of federal support to this area. Shame on you for making a tragic situation worse by airing his negative propaganda.

For heaven�s sake, your station doesn�t even have someone answering the phone lines: When I tried to call, the phone rang & rang until I finally hung up.

Someone should tell them they are misrepresenting themselves if they advertise as Progressive Talk then air three hours of the Hate Monger. :grr:

the tax cuts for the wealthy, and the capital gains tax cuts, and the elimination of prevailing wage laws are really really REALLY helping rebuild their city and restore their lives to normalcy!
