I remember when he was first (s)elected I sighed and said, "It's only four years" then put it out of my mind. I had no intention of hating this man although I didn't agree with his views. The day I started hating him was the day he started this illegal, immoral war.

I think the problem is that they're projecting. They had no real reason to hate Clinton. Hell, he went along with them and passed right-wing legislation! NAFTA, welfare reform, etc. They assume we're all as petty as they are.

It's projection, clear and simple.
