Sorry if I sometimes bring up old news
I think I occasionally pick scabs, as it were, on issues that should probably be ancient history, considering all that we have to face now.

Some of it is primary era crap that I suddenly realize I know near nothing about. I had to jump in sort of in the middle of the festivities, and didn't discover this place til well after the primaries. I was a sheeple during the primaries. I was only a vague Clarkie then, and hadn't gotten pissed off about Gitmo yet. I was just vaguely unhappy with Bush and his bait and switch in Iraq, and vaguely happy with Clark for saying that 9/11 was not a blank check for waging war.

In some ways, I think it's good to find out how others felt about what happened in Primary 2004, so that I can relate better to where folks are coming from now. It should be ancient history in a way. But then many of us are still separated into "Clarkie" "Deaniac" and other groups. So it's still relevant info for that reason.

But in other ways, I've noticed I tend to refire old animosities. I certainly don't want to do that. I do try for the most part to be Unity Gal.

So I'm kinda stuck.

Part of me wants to go crawling around in the archives for a while and see what happened.

The part of me that is a procrastinator knows I probably will never do that.

So, at the least, let me just say I'm sorry that I sometimes stir up old rivalries and hurts. I'll try not to. But I'm still de-sheepling to some extent. Just biff me upside the head once in a while if I get too obsessive about stuff that doesn't really matter anymore.

Thanks.
