2. I suspect
that the Marine's parents/next of kin approved of Bush* reading the letter as a way of "honoring" their fallen loved one.

That's hard to deal with.

3. I would be standing
outside every TV studio I could find and writing letters as fast as I could type so that everyone would hear just exactly what I thought about this so called leader.

My guess is it was approved. Whatever, if it was me I would raise enough hell that someone would have to cover me, even if it meant covering me as a wacko.

5. I'd buy a plane ticket to wherever Cindy is.
We'd protest Bush together. I have only 1 family member in the war now and he doesn't want to be there.

...the British,Canadian and Swedish press. I would want to get my story out there and not hope that the MSM would possibly pick it up and get it right.
