1. I can't hate a person that has a 100% rating from NARAL.
and has a sterling record on the budget, environment, education, gay-rights and civil rights.

2. I wouldn't give a damn if the Tooth Fairy gave him a box of
Cracker Jack.

He's a worthless Bush enabling fuck.

3. You're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine.
Like you said..."hate" is a strong word. I choose not to "hate". I choose to "fight". Much more efficient use of emotion.

4. I'm not arguing with you
in this post or the previous one.

I retain my right to feel the way I do REGARDLESS of any rating by any group assigned to Lieberman.

I live in a real-world, DA.
And, I will allow the good Democrats of Connecticut to make their ultimate decision. Do you live in Connecticut?

BTW...weak attack. "NOT HATE" means "LIKE".

Yeah right. Are you feeling okay today? Reading comprehension skill must be off.

If you don't "like" and you do not "hate him" where do you stand? I guess some wishy washy middleground. Come to think of it I am wrong yo are the ideal democrat.

As to me being from the state in question, that does not matter a rats ass. He is still passing laws over me at the federal level. Therefore I have something to say. And that something is, "I hate Joe Lieberman. He is sell out neocon trash. The voters of Connecticut should not do this to the country again."

I don't see you withholding your opinion because you do not live there. Why the hell should I?

9. I don't think he is licking boots. I think his heart is 1/2 in Israel. I
think he is speaking with his heart and his mind. And though I disagree - I would rather see that than the "one mind" & disciplined repukes any day.

Because it means Dems are still human. And they vary in their views. But they are not a machine.

I don't think Joe is licking anyone. I think he is really scared. That is truly and deeply how he feels.

11. I would not torture myself that way. It is dis-heartening. I hate it.
But lots of Americans feel that way. Particularly those Israeli hawks who are from an older generation. They don't trust to just 'let things happen & hope for the best'. Like the outcome of peace in iraq.

To us we can walk away and say - I'm sure iraq will stick together in the end - perhaps a little more islamic than before. But when the insurgency has nobody to blame but civilians - then the Sunnis will come to the table (or risk loosing access to all that oil that is not in the territory they own).

People who have been repeatedly victims of crimes - like that generation of Israeli hawks - are vigilant. And though they will vote civil rights up the ying yang - when it comes to the outcome of people who want to comit crimes against them - you just do not leave that to hope or chance.

It isn't voluntary. And it is actually the correct way to live your life. It is reality. Not for me with the middle east. Not for you perhaps. But for people who have been repeatedly targeted - you don't go soft.

Like us with Bush. We no longer put anything past the Rove WH. We will not sit and watch phoney news. We will not be spoon fed. We will not take the WH shit because we know it is bad. We know it is poison.

I felt bad for a week when Iran said "let's destroy Israel" (or whatever the leader said three weeks ago). It bothered me for a week. You can bet it bothers people in America who care deeply about Israel very much to the core. And that comment will likely never be forgotten. Forty years from now people will remember what that new Iranian leader said in Israel and all over AMerica. It was a threat. A big, bad, hateful threat.

Lieberman had a different month than you or I did. So he has different feelings on the war. His month was much, much different than yours or mine.

But to be a victim of crimes is to be forever vigilant. To not take things litely - because it is not possible or human to ignore all out fear. He is speaking his heart and mind. I will not watch cause it will upset me - as it has you.
