Frist: "Today we saw real leadership"

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/11/30/AR2005113001307.html

"Some Democrats have been playing politics with the war in Iraq for partisan political gain. Today we saw real leadership. By looking past the rhetoric and examining the results on the ground, it's clear that we continue to make progress on the political, security and economic fronts, and that as Iraq progresses, so does our strategy." _ Senate Majority leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn.

We all know how good his judgement is when he can render opinions after watching a tape.

He's more brain dead than Schiavo ever was.

7. Yeah, from the Dems
a lady from the DNC was on AAR this morning, and said it like it was-that all the speech was was a rehash of slogans. Murtha's resolution showed real leadership and courage, and the repukes have shown themselves as cowards with nothing but tired slogans to hide behind.

inept jerk read a bunch of tired old cliches on a teleprompter, in front of a hijacked group of Naval cadets.

that is projected in front of a different backdrop and with a different audience each time.

13. 'The president clearly stated that America will not run.
"The only exit strategy for Iraq is victory and we will not leave the Iraqis defenseless until they have the full capacity to protect themselves." — Rep. Mike Conaway, R-Texas.

I wish that just once one of them would explain what "victory" entails and how they'll know when they've achieved it. All I've heard from empty hats such as Conaway amounts to "We'll know we've won when it's time to leave."

to the destruction of the GOP.
That's good with me. Too bad it's going
destroy our country, too. But

26. That line is actually the only true one in the bunch
As things get progressively worse, we keep changing what we say our strategy is in a vain attempt to find something that people will believe.
