40 Battalions of Iraqi independent-action troops?
That's what NPR just said W said today.

Seems like it was only a month ago we were talking 1 or 3. Seems like a short time to jump to 40.

As soon as we leave, all those Hungarian tanks that the Iraqi Army got -- as well as most of the rest of the equipment we have provided -- will end up in insurgent hands.

the sunnis, i assume. the jihadis will be persona non grata once the civil war is underway.

why would the sunnis tie themselves down to tanks when NOT having tanks is working perfectly?
