How many days has Bush actually spent in the WH?
Just wondering if anyone knew this obscure fact. With all his vacations, fund raising, and every weekend in Camp David, it would be interesting to know just how many days he really spent in the white house. If anyone knows thanks in advance.

1. Too damn many? More than he deserves?
Sorry I can't be more helpful.

2. Halfway through his administration...
...a reporter noted that he played more rounds of golf than press conferences.

3. vacation
Boy I wish I could take that many vacations.
I haven't had more than 3 days in a row off in over 5 years.

4. He's taken a month of vacation each year.
To go down to his ranch in Crawford, Tx.

I sure wish *I* had a month of vacation each year.

5. SNL Bush Line
The older guy, Hammond, when Bush was first selected...

"I'll work for you 24/7! That's 24 hours a week, seven months a year!"

9. Doesnt really matter.
I've never subscribed to the theory that one must be in a certain building to do a job.

The job of the presidency can be done anywhere.

That said, frankly if Bush must be in the white house in order to govern, then we are much better off if he is on vacation :)

10. this site claims 250 days on holiday since he took office
(up to this summer ...)

http://ask.yahoo.com/ask/20031001.html

Compare this to Clinton's entire total of days off during his 8 years (at half the salary Bush is getting, too!)
