Firsthand information on what foreigners think of the U.S.
Edited on Fri Oct-17-03 05:15 PM by Ugnmoose
One of my clients just returned from a vacation to Western Europe and Russia. She told me every where she went she heard the same thing. People there think our government is both crazy and dangerous, that the war in Iraq is totally bogus, and that our economy and dollar is going down the tubes. In Spain and France they did not even want to take our dollars, prefering the Euro instead.

In Great Britain, the people cannot understand why * is so popular here. They want to hang both * and Tony Blair together for the trumped up war.

My client also said that people over there seem to know alot more about what is going on over here than we do.

No big news here, but thought you would like to know.

1. just nice to have confirmation of these things-- I have
friends in europe and australia who keep asking me why the nut cases are in charge, and why more people don't realize what is actually going on.

they really have a difficult time understanding about the sheeples.

2. I long for the day
when Americans know as much about what is done in their name as does the rest the world.

3. well its pretty hard
when the news on the front page of the little local rag is about a football team, and the AP wire paragraph about the rest of the globe is buried on page 4 or 5.

4. How about all Kobe all the time
Who gives a frig? If he wasn't some big ape jock nobody would ever hear or even care! It makes me absolutely sick that the media panders to a moronic appetite for the inane and the bizarre.
