He said this on "Hardball." What does he know that the rest of America doesn't? And, is the cynical reason many of our Dems refuse to get behind John Murtha?

That is why the resolution passed in the first place because it was introduced just before the election and too many democrats didn't want to look "weak on defense" or terrorism. Let's just do what's right and maybe the politics of the matter will work itself out.
