1. I'm trying..
to talk my boyfriend into going to see it tonight. I can't wait. I love Eastwood films, and that's an incredible cast.

btw... for those who are wondering, it's the film "Mystic River"

2. I saw Tim Robbins on Charlie Rose a couple of days back
Tim Robbins was talking about what a professional set Clint Eastwood ran. He said that they never did more than 2 takes on any given scene. They were all treated as adults, they turned out a very good product (I haven't seen it, but I assume this is so).

It occured to me that these are the same spoiled, drug-addicted, self-interested liberal, brie-eating, chardonnay-drinking liberals villified so often by the right. I think their respective bodies of work are the best counter-argument to this sort of nonsense.

3. That's exactly what I was thinking.
They have fame and wealth to live in such comfort, yet they open themselves to such hatred. Knowing this they still speak out against this useless war.

4. Tim Robbins on Conan O'Brien
Graciously spent the entire time congratulating Conan on the birth of his daughter. Apparently he was supposed to appear the day before and Conan cancelled on him and Tim said he understood and would wait the extra day or two and appear on thew show anyway. Tim is a class act.

They showed a short clip from Mystic River with Tim doing a Bahston accent(Boston is the film's location), and after working for over a year with a guy who spoke the real thing, he sounded quite accurate.
