Sen Allard (R-CO), Protests Criticism of Bush

What I cannot accept, what I feel is so irresponsible, and what is so damaging to our nation, are accusations that suggest that President Bush deliberately lied to the American people about either the intelligence or about his reasons for going to war.

And again, Allard secures his role as chief Bush asskisser.

16. Remember how Allard was re-elected?

Tom Strickland ran against him. His campaign talked about defeating terrorism by looking at the causes and trying to figure out why people turned to terrorism. Allard attacked Strickland with messages that basically said, "Terrorists are evil - that's why they do what they do." At the time, it evidently resounded with less-intelligent voters, and they re-elected him.

I remember hating those commercials, "Tell Tom, Terrorists are Evil." Bleah.
