... the fourth storm on the list hits Texas: "Debby Does Dallas!" There's a graphic that the CNN graphics people will go WILD over!

4. That would be funny but I don't think hurricanes make it as far
inland as Dallas.

3. A TS in January?
That would be weird. Because there has to be warm water for them to form.

9. Yes, it would
but if one did form in January, it would probably actually be the last storm of this season even though it would be classified as the first storm of the next season.

And since you have a hurricane now and this season has been really weird, an extremely late storm is not out of the question.

5. Don't Mess With Hurricane Tony
...or else he'll have his cousins Hurricane Vinnie, Hurricane Louie and Tropical Storm Sal (he hasn't been upgraded yet), to blow your house down.

Hurricane Joyce? Why am I thinking that awful tele-evangelist who shows up on your TV at 4am?

I wonder if the book in Vegas is already taking bets on which storm will do the most damage...

Eek! These storms are doing some very strange stuff this year. They are behaving unlike any other storms we've seen. Freaks me out.

I propose that Tony will be the biggie next year. Tony is a tough-guy name if I've ever seen one.

12. There is no global warming, there is no global warming, there is no
global warming. I can't remember a warmer Nov and running into Dec in the 12 years I have lived in Texas, than this year. Very strange temps for this time of year. Guess I should be grateful that I haven't had to use my central heat yet, since my utility company informed me that rates will be double from last year. Usually this time of year even with turning on the heat, my bill is in the $70 dollar range. Without using central heat, our electric bill was $140 for last month, so yes double. Thanks George, for deregulating the energy companies in Texas as a parting shot! You a$$hole!
