Alito supported police shooting & killing unarmed 15-yr-old who stole $10
Edited on Sat Dec-03-05 08:25 PM by StefanX
Alito is a freak. He supported the police shooting a 15-year-old kid in the head and killing him. The kid was unarmed and he was fleeing -- after having stolen ten whole dollars.

As an assistant to the Solicitor General, Judge Alito weighed in on a case involving an officer who was investigating a possible burglary. The officer heard a door slam, then went to the backyard where he “shined his flashlight on a youth who appeared to be unarmed and who was trying to climb a six-foot-high chain link fence to escape.” The officer “seized” the kid by shooting him in the head.

"I think the shooting {in this case} can be justified as reasonable," Alito wrote in a 1984 memo to Justice Department officials. Because the officer could not know for sure why a suspect was fleeing, the courts should not set a rule forbidding the use of deadly force, he said.

When in doubt, blow their brains out. That's the kind of thoughtful, deliberate analysis we need on the Supreme Court.

Hello, Dems in Congress -- do you think any of you could bother mentioning this little incident from Alito's past while you have the floor sometime? Think of it as a way of preventing some of your constituents from getting shot in the head.

1. On the bright side;
Alito will only be on the court for 20-30 years.

2. Alito is a facsist. Just like Rudy Giulianni.
:argh:

Both are bastards, just horrible things.

Roe v. Wade is the least of my concerns. Civil Liberties are much more important.
