Bush and the Art of Misdirection.

I've seen what the great magicians can do, their feats and tricks. Masters of Illusion.

But no one, I mean no one has ever pulled off aa great a stunt as Bush and his "Weapons of Mass Destruction".

The stated purpose for invading Iraq was to find and destroy weapons of mass destruction. I remember how surreal and ironic it all was.

People kept asking where were the wmds and I kept saying "there they are, right there. We are the ones bringing them into Iraq".

In other words, while we were looking for wmds, we were the ones actually bringing tons of weapons of mass destruction into Iraq.

Talk about mis-direction! :crazy: I wish I were a cartoonist so I could show the irony. I wish I could draw american soldiers marching into Iraq looking for weapons of mass destruction while following right behind them, MOABS, Bunker Busters, and all sorts of nasty things. (If there are any artists in the house ...)

It would take pages to list all the weapons of mass destruction which we moved into Iraq.

You gotta admit how brilliant it was. The weapons we moved in there are not there just for the war against the Iraqis, but for the war against all of them.

A base from which we will commence to seize all of the oil.

ALL OF IT! Not just Iraqi oil. You guys don't think big enough. They are operating on an entirely different level.

You know they say the best way to hide something is to put it right in front of people's faces. Bush has been a master of this strategy
from day one.

They steal right in front of us. We don't see it. They lie to our faces. We don't hear it.

They do things like terrorist airplane hijacking training exercises on the same day as the real hijacking of planes, but it's just a coincidence.

This weeks bone to the idiots is the defamation/disappearance of Christmas. Their outrage would be complete if it turned out Santa, as he was leaving, kidnapped a blonde coed.

...and her colleagues at Brewster Jennings thwarted several attempts by the Bush** Misadministration to plant the purported WMDs in Iraq.

NGU.

That seems highly plausible, IMHO.........

Slowly, oh very slowly, Americans are waking up.

I don't want to speak for everyone here, but I'd say that at least 70% of the members here were never fooled by this Monkey with his Organ grinder Cheney.

Speaking for myself, I figured out what this War was really about back in August 2002, and have know this guy was an incompetent boob who was going to float along on his Daddy's name, supported by his Daddy's friends since 1999 when he first announced he was going to run for President.

I agree about the Magic tricks, but he only ever fooled 50% of the country and only for a short while. Now he's only "fooling" his fellow conspirators and those who still WANT to believe.
