Say "Win Quickly" instead of "Pullout"
I just read this elsewhere...

What if, instead of using the term "pullout" at all, Dems said, "Win Quickly."

Mr. President, we want a win. Win. Quickly. And then let's get out. What's taking so long, Mr. President? Why can't you win this thing already? You've said repeatedly we have the best military in the world. So why. aren't. we. winning???

1. LOL... Sounds like a Bushism
Hey... it might work. If only the Dem leaders did talking points.

These sort of back-handed talking points only work if everyone goes on message at once, strike hard, and move on before the enemy has a chance to retaliate.

They are working on their parliamentary tactics, though.

3. That Makes A Lot of Sense to Me
After all, Bush can declare a win at a whim. Nobody has a definition of a win so let the Dems influence Bush with the declaration that he has won. And home come our children (soldiers).

4. we can't legitimately win what we have no right to
We have no right to manipulate the Iraqi people through our military meddling. There can be no victory that comes out of this illegal and immoral war.

5. That's only if you think we can "win" at all
As long as we have a mentality that says we just need to change one or two things, and then we will win, this war will continue. We have to recognize and reflect in our speech that this thing is a rotten mess from top to bottom, inside and out, through and through.

How long did Nixon keep the troops in Vietnam because it was hoped that there could be "peace with honor"?
