Lee Hamilton, and Tom Kean were just on meet the press, and what they represented is a sad state of affairs for all of our safety!

And yet we discuss over and over Xmas holiday crap...

The very first responders of this nation, Flight Attendants and Air Marshall's are fighting the tsa allowing scissors and other paraphernalia to be allowed back on airplanes...

I say they are the first responders, because whether you are on the aircraft, or on the ground, that aircraft can kill many, do we not have proof of that??

when do we listen to the people who know?
when do we hold our representatives accountable??

we have sent billions to cites who do not need the money since 9/11 and yet nothing has been done about the cargo that goes on each and every flight..less than 1% of cargo is being checked...

its one of the biggest reasons, i took early retirement as a flight attendant!

what you are being sold is window dressing...i get furious when i go to the airport and i see Americans so willing to take their shoes and clothes off in all different manners..and yet these same Americans remain ignorant , and oblivious to the real dangers..i get furious that shoes are taken off when plastiques can so easily be put on board and aircraft,and its not even being looked for!
I get furious that flight attendants are not being trained in martial arts..i get furious that this government has put up so many road blocks to pilots being armed...most of whom were military pilots with incredible responsibilities of flying air force planes and now carrying thousands of lives, and yet they are being thwarted by * to carry arms!
i am tired of Americans acting as if flight attendants are their waitress...remember people , they are your eyes and ears, they are your survival ..they are the first responders in the air and many times on the ground..should they succeed in getting you there...

think when you walk on that airplane , that that person greeting you may be the very person who saves your life , if it becomes nessesary...

but that flight attendant also fights to get regulations and procedures to keep you safe..on their own time...

i do not often like to speak for others, but i will say this, no group of people care about your life or safety more than that flight crew...

they fight for your rights and your safety at all times, against the government , and against corporate policymakers...

the airline unions are your best friend...because they protect the crew in making decisions for your safety...they allow a flight crew member to walk off a plane if conditions for safety are not met..

and i will say this and flame me if you want..but Lee Hamilton and Thomas Kean said enough to get me mad as hell..instead of worrying about all this Christmas crap...get mad as hell and use your voice for things that matter for all of us...

fear is not an option ..action is..stand behind the flight attendants and air marshall's who are attempting to fight TSA allowing scissors back on planes, fight the congress and make them get the equipment online NOW! to inspect cargo, fight congress to get the nuclear power plants protected..and remember this..

when flt 11 and flight 175 hit the wtc..they flew over a huge power plant..that has not been protected , and even now is extremely vunerable in the New York area...many more would die if that power plant were hit ...

and remember when you walk on a plane..that flight attendant has been trained to protect you..what you might find silly or inconsequential..has been time tested, in other crashes, in other incidents you are not aware of..and in some cases for your security the flight crew can not and will not tell you about,but the rules and proceedures are there for very valid reasons.

and the number 1# reason that flight crew is there, is for your safety..for your security..and those incredible professionals care about their passengers lives more than anything else!

Please stand with the Flight crews of our Airlines in keeping scissors and other dangerous objects off planes!!

Funny how the corporate controlled government is easing restrictions on knives just in time for the holiday travel. They are predictable puppets. They don't think for themsleves and this is dangerous. We need government of the PEOPLE, not some corporate cronies.

Bush ran on terror, a lot of people voted for him because they thought he would protect us from terrorists. Yet he hasnt dont JACK SHIT to protect us from terrorists.

Even worse, I specifically remember John Kerry talking about these same points during the debate. There is no doubt that Kerry as President would have taken these recommendations seriously and we would be much safer now.

But noooooooooooo, people are FUCKING DUMBASS IDIOTS and we have this situation now.

This needs to be spread everywhere. These guys need to be on every talk show discussing how Bush is "protecting" us!

Regardless of what you perceive of the terror threat, this illustrates the ultimate hypocrisy of the Bush administration and Republican Congress.

i get furious when rethugs say..well we haven't been attacked again..well this admin failed us on 9/11 and they again failed us in Katrina..if that didn't awaken Americans to the failure of republicans i do not know what would..what if Katrina was an attack..we were no more prepared than we were on 9/11!! in fact we were less so..9/11 came as a shock...Katrina was a known entity..days ahead , we all knew in this country Katrina was going to be bad, and yet this admin was not prepared, in fact failed with a big fat "F" and still fails daily...

to make holiday travel as confused and messed up as possible. My pet air travel theory is they WANT the airlines to go belly up.

They do not want common folk to travel at all. Won't fix the bridges and highways even though there is plenty of room for graft in those sorts of projects. Won't consider improving rail transportation. Seem to be doing all sorts of things to annoy people with air travel.

They control the media here and bomb reporters in hotels abroad, or shoot at them on the road... They consider bombing headquarters of foreign news agencies. They have Blair threaten his media with the dreaded Secrets Act. They don't want us getting the truth.

Hmmm, limited travel, limited information. Sounds like the Iron Curtain to me. They aren't making anyone safer. They are making us captives.

I watched Kean and Hamilton too, and have heard them quite often in the recent past complaining about the lack of compliance to their recommendations.I do have very mixed feelings about them though. I do believe in MIHOP and IMHO their recommendations wouldn't have prevented the 9/11 tragedy. I have very often called the 9/11 Commission, the White Wash Commission.

Also,their push for biometrics is disturbing. That IMHO is part of the effort to bring us to Nineteen Eighty-Four......

As to Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant (it's about 15 minutes here by car).....if the "hijackers" really wanted to send a message on 9/11, that would have been the target and not the WTC. As it so happened, the two planes that hit the WTC passed Indian Point on their way to NYC. In fact, when all the planes were called down, my son and I saw a jet heading south of here, and we both couldn't breathe until it veered east, away from the plant.

but after 4 years of public speaking about MIHOP AND LIHOP i am of the belief that most americans as well as engineers and tech people can not wrap their arms around that...i also do not trust any of the 9/11 commissioners..their ties to the Saudis and the * admin are too
glaring to ignore..

i in fact was part of a round table with one of the 9/11 commissioners..in which he did not answer 1 of my professional questions..not one..but that said....

we need to open dialog with as many americans as possible ..NOW...and with simple facts most Americans can put their arms around...

i have found when i take the facts of 9/11 and when i ask americans to look at just the simple things..that do not add up..they get it..and their curiosity is then awoken....

but what i worry most about is , is the next event...and there will be a next event...and we must arm those who are the first responders..we must arm the flight crews of this nation..we must arm the police and fire people with communication, with proper training and proceedures..and we must be protecting our nuclear plants, and making damn sure nothing gets onto an aircraft that can cause a catastrophic event...

and that is the job of we the people...we must hold those who are failing accountable..we must educate other Americans..we must all do this...we must confront each other and humiliate others if need be ,
to get action from all Americans...

i know i have tried for 4 years the nice way,..i am done with nice..i get in peoples faces now..i hold my fellow Americans responsible...and accountable...

i ask when did Americans become lilly livered fear frightened citizens..we are fighters ..we fight for whats right..we are inventors..we are entrepreneurs, we used to be a nation beyond reproach.....and now we sit back out of fear and let our leaders destroy our standing in the world ..they have destroyed our reputation throughout the world

we need to get up and fight..we need to fight our congress and senators..and demand that they get the money out of montana ..and utah..and get that money where it belongs..we need to demand each and every airplane have its cargo inspected..we need to make damn sure our nuclear plants are protected and put on the highest alerts and make sure they can withstand a aircraft penetration...and that they are put thorough test after,test after,test for security..., and we need to damn sure make sure all first responders have comminication, corodination, and leadership..that has real teeth...

this is what we all need to demand..and we need to hold anyone who does not comply accountable...not after a fake commission..it must be law..and laws with teeth..and from the bottom to the top..it is all of our responsibility...

and we need to be son of a bitches about it...no nonsence...remove anyone who does not comply..in our government

this commission was a freaking joke..never before in aviation history ..did a commission investigate any type of airline disaster...this was and is bullshit...

we need to re-open the 9/11 commisson bullshit and do a real investigation...real money needs to be spent to find out , how , why , who , was involved , and who was responsible for 9/11 ...

and then hold them all for treason and murder...

that will help us in how to protect our nation and until that is done..no one will ever be safe from those inside and out side our government...

and we all damn well have a responsibility in that...

and for those who can not wrap their arms around mihop or lithop..your responsibility is to make sure you educate yourselves in the current failures...and do something about it..

go to meetings with your congress people and senators..and get demanding..get in their faces...don't take bullshit for an answer...

and when people say to you..well no other attacks have happened under *..then get in their faces and tell them ..but yes it was under his admin that the worst disaster did occur..and educate those people ..and then tell them Katrina was a disaster..and * failed miserably...what if it had been a nuclear attack?? what if it had been a dirty bomb??

* failed miserably...and after his miserable failure he played politics on the backs of the people in the gulf states

and he still does as of today...

and anyone who supports this admin and isn't demanding their replacement is a traitor to this nation...anyone who supports the first responder money going to montana and utah or indiana or podunk..is a traitor to this nation..as that money should be being used to protect nuclear plants, and equip to check all cargo holds on aircraft in all our air space...

co-ordinated communication is an absolute must..an immediate need!

this is all our fight..its the fight for all our survival..

and as much as i hate the commissioners..they seem to be the only ones that the majority of americans listen to..

but there is a day i want even all of them held accountable...

but i have a long list of people i want held accountable...but i can beat that one to death...that will not protect americans in the immediate ..now...
