"Greenspan: US deficit may hurt global economy"
Who says this guy isn't one sharp cookie??

"Outgoing Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan warned Friday that America's exploding budget deficit...could disrupt the global economy."

Doesn't he share some responsibility??

1. Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
Greenspan deserves all the credit
for the US budget deficit.

He publicly supported Bush's stupid tax cuts,
which got us into deficit.

He's a piece of shit and his wife is an
ugly propoganda bitch for NBC.

5. Greenie is a judas goat.
He's luring everyone from the real folks who do the wasteful spending. Looking at the last 25 years: reagan, poppy, and shrubbie have done the most spending - and just when will lil' shrubbypoo finally start vetoing any budget bills?

4. Why would Greenspan have responsibility?

He doesn't make the government budgets, Congress does.

6. This is true...
Edited on Sun Dec-04-05 12:28 PM by the_real_38
... he signed on to those tax cuts, when Clinton had the government running a surplus. The way that it actually threatens the economy is that other countries are funding our debt, which ties up a lot of capital that could go into private investment. The only jobs being created as a result of the increased government spending are the destructive ones in the military sector.
