NEVER FORGET. IT IS US. IT IS UP TO US. IT IS TIME TO BEGIN
Hello brothers and sisters.

There is much going on in the political landscape these days. There is scandal after scandal, lie after lie and death after death. We know we cannot stand for it anymore. We know something must be done to take back control of our glorious country that has been undermined and tarnished by a culture of corruption and deceit that we have never before seen the likes of.

It just so happens that we have an opportunity to do just that and it comes in the form of the 06 election cycle. The mood in the country is ripe for change. If ever there was a time to take advantage of that overwhelming sentiment it is now. The time is now. The elections are a year away and we all know how quickly that year will go by. We also know that the republican spin machine will be out in full force trying to destroy the democratic agenda to take back the house and senate. We must not allow them to succeed.

We must become familiar with our opponents. We must learn who is up for re-election and who is vulnerable. We must learn about them and prepare to fight them. We must get the word out to all who would not know otherwise. We must reach into our pockets and provide financial campaign support to all those running against those we oppose. We must each learn our own house representatives in our district and help our democratic candidate win in that district.

Fellow brothers and sisters of DU, the call to action is here and the time is now. We have a year. One year to form the largest grass roots effort possible to clear the landscape of the corruption in our government and take back control of our great nation.

Please join me and start by clicking on the two links below.

So just who can we take out?

2. unite!
as alex jones once stated the left right paradigm is potrayed only to throw you off from the real issues at hand, the secret black budget shadow operations pertaining to the advanced systems and integrations of backwardsly engineered super craft and communications technologies given to us by the ET's. the matter at hand is incorperating these things into viable commercial and efficient forms on the global scale safely, thus requiring large amounts of defense expenditures. good day!

:)

6. I agree, But fighting that alone would be the mark of a fool.
I 100% agree that we need voter verified paper balloting. We need to stop the election fraud. I am 100% in that camp.

I also know I can chew gum and walk at the same time. I also realize that no matter how big an effort we put forth right now, we may not really see any significant enough voting changes by election 06. That doesn't mean we stop the constant barrage of efforts to succeed though.

Regardless of what happens on that front, we still MUST be educated and active in our efforts for EVERY SINGLE race in 06. Fight for the voting changes, but please make sure you also are learning the name of your district reps, learning the Senate seats up for grabs, and doing your best to finance those races that require it if possible.

Thanks.

7. I agree, and meant to say something about the expressiveness of
your header.

I do, though, in my dotage, have some difficulties in multitasking

I actually do know my reps/senators, etc., and am in the process of writing a harrassing letter to my idiot pugrep.

obama and durbin had better LISTEN TO ME, as well!

8. You're Lucky, You got Obama and Durbin!
I do agree with the urgency to attack the voting issues as well and am terrified of the implications the lack of progress so far could have in 06.

11. Great post! K&R!!!
"We must become familiar with our opponents."

That one sentence says it all. Anytime you wish to win at anything, a ballgame, a business contract, or a political endeavor, it pays to know what your competition is bring to the table, so you can best counter it.

13. Republican Manufactured And Programmed Voting Machines
need to go ASAP!!!!!!! Gore won in 2000, 2002 Dems won, and Kerry won in 2004, but the Republican manufactured and programmed voting machines fixed the elections!!!!!!!!! I will vote anyway, even if I have to crawl to the polls, but it sure would be nice if we were to have a level playing field. If the elections were not fixed, Republicans would not have a chance, which is the reason they fixed them in the first place.
