"Paying Iraqi Newspapers Troubles Bush"
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush is disturbed by the U.S. military's practice of paying Iraqi papers to run articles emphasizing positive developments in the country and will end the program if it violates the principles of a free media, a senior aide said Sunday.

"He's very troubled by it" and has asked Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld to look into the pay-to-print program, national security adviser Stephen Hadley said.

"If it is inconsistent with the policy guidance it will be shut down," Hadley said on ABC's "This Week."

Hadley acknowledged there is a need to counter the disinformation campaigns of U.S. enemies in Iraq. "But the message we need to get out has to be truth and facts," Hadley told "Fox News Sunday."

1. Bullspit! He's only troubled about being found out.

This man doesn't have an ethical bone in his chicken hawk worthless body. Rumsfeld and Bush wouldn't know truth if it smacked them in the ass. They are beyond redemption.

So, ask me how I REALLY feel.

5. "Troubled" because someone TOLD
He's not a bit troubled by the efforts to propagandize. They even TOLD us they were going to do it, and then backed down..They said they were not going to do it, yet knew they would ...they just were not going to tell us..and then they were "outed".

7. If he's troubled by it, why did he pay US reporters to do the same thing?

8. Bush thinks that we should only have to pay to plant the head-
lines. They are all he reads anyway, the rest of the article could be a how-to on making a nourishing soup out of maggoty tap water and people like him would never notice.
