My feeling is this, take them ALL down one by one. Ruin their credibility for any future articles. The press has mislead the US far too long. I know she appears regularly on CNN. Tell them too. Is there anywhere else her columns appear?
Don't know how much effect it will have, but there are 70,000 DUers. Please help and don't let this one slip by. Email your state Special Olympics offices as well and let them know. Question for lawyers, can something be done legally?

I ignore her when she says stuff about Liberals. I will not ignore this comment, and I don't think anyone else should too. It is not political. It is ridiculing.

e-mailing them (as I started to do) only shows that you read her column, which is exactly what they want you to do.

Mann Coulter lives to rile up liberals and conservatives alike.

She is nothing in the scheme of things.

The worst thing one can do to an enemy is to refuse to acknowledge their existence. Coulter's m.o. are over-the-top statements which generate outraged responses, thus keeping her name in focus. Ignoring her outbursts dooms her to oblivion.

I consider anything printed that she says no more important than a bird cage liner. One of these days she is going to insult one of the members of her own choir with her vitriol and they will probably give her a figurative sky diving lesson without a parachute when that happens and her columns will start disappearing from view until she becomes a has been.

It's a looney-bin full of psychopathic reichbots, swallowing and recycling their own delusional dairrhea. They're human sewage.

My kid brother is mentally retarded and played in some Special olympics games when he was a kid. Her comments are an outrage. And I have told townhall that I think they are an outrage.

She is also a columnist and writes opinion pieces. I can't stand the woman, but she has the right to her opinion.

I think we need to get her out of as many mainstream papers as possible, just for her tone. Out of curiousity, why does the "Special Olympics" thing bother the OPer, so much? No more or less offensive to me than most of what she has to say...

This isn't so much anti-Ann, it was more like the Special Olympics do not need anymore negative comments. And the fact they came from a RW commentator.

I do, however, find Ann as a person in entirety to be offensive to the human race altogether.

Take every one of Coulter's columns and apply the principle of reductio ad absurdum -- sort of like Walt Kelly did with Joe McCarthy or Charlie Chaplin and his script-writers did with Hitler. In this particular instance, by pointing out that Coulter's "special Olympics" remarks not only reflects her pure-Nazi contempt for the disabled, but also (by the inference that every Democratic member of Congress is mentally challenged) her savage hostility to the American people and ultimately to our liberty itself.

I'm not a humorist -- in fact it has been seriously questioned whether I have ever laughed even once in my life -- so I couldn't do it. But someone else surely could:
