4. Media is controlled. It has been for many years.
It is not liberal and not traditionally conservative. It serves those who own it, at the moment it is supporting a gang of criminals.

The media transmits the big lie of the day.

7. We invaded Iraq to fight the terrorists over there rather than here.
Actually, they are all a bunch of lies that, in order to believe, you must suspend deep thought and just nod your head in unison as Rush and Hannity speak.

12. "There's no such thing as global warming."
Of all the ridiculous crap that they spew, that one has always struck me as the most ridiculous of all. It basically translates to: "If we say it ain't so, we don't have to do anything about it."

13. Most ridiculous == most damaging?
If I were to rate the lies of this administration--and god only knows they've told enough of them--I would not rate them with such an arbitrary metric as "ridiculousness". Rather, I would ask which lie has done the most damage.

It's close on two different ones listed.

It's between these two:
Iraq is responsible for 9/11
and
You have to support the war in Iraq to support the troops

I chose the latter because the ChimpCo administration has backed off on the first one in spite of the fact that some still make the same claim. The latter is really a damaging one--and is likely the *most* damaging one because in spite of all the lies to get us into this stupid war, people all over the administration and all over the media are still implying that if people do not support the war that they are not supporting the troops. This is the most ridiculous and most damaging lie because it gains real traction in the public's eye. People tend to believe it in spite of the fact that it's totally illogical.

I hate this one most of all.

15. So many good choices. I can't decide!
It would have to be a tie between "Iraq 9/11 connection" and the "activist judges." But damn it's hard to choose. Well done poll!
