2. 9-11 didn't happen in Iraq.
Or was that not the answer you were looking for?

3. A question the Chimp's supporters need to be asking
since only they believe there is a connection between Iraq and 9/11

6. Let's say there was
What interest is it of the Iraqis? Between the murders, executions, wars, environmental damage etc. they have enough to hang the SOB 50 times.

It doesn't matter now if he piloted one of the planes & bailed out before impact, the trial is an Iraqi trial on Iraqi crimes.

The question worth answering is: if he was guilty of 9-11, why didn't they just drop a grenade into his spiderhole while he was in it?

8. wouldn't the u.s. charge him if it were even slightly suspected?
bush used the name saddam in the same sentence with nine eleven so many times he had to actually come out and say saddam had nothing to do with it. but it's still inferred all the time, and millions of americans actually believe that saddam and osama were in cahoots on nine eleven

13. Yes, of course, that so, so true
Over and over again he did

Yet he was ever so careful, oh yes he was, to never state, that the Saddam-iser himself had partaken in this affair. Oh! He dreamed it was so! ! ! But alas, without prove he could no say so........

Besides, If he believed so, Baghdad would be not but radioactive dust.

4. He wasn't
And nobody in the pro war crowd has formally made that claim.

Though every time you question our invading Iraq, the subtle 9/11 overtones ring through in their rhetoric.

19. Huh? Someone actually said that?
Even among the repugs I've talked to in this repug burg, they never have said Saddam would be tried for 9/11. It's always about him gassing his people (with the chemical weapons the good ol' USA sold to him, altho they would never admit we did that).

20. Well, the repubs in yahoo chat aren't known for being
able to use their brains. The main reason I even bother going there is because they are very humorous.

10. 9-11 was just the convenient
"catastrophic event" needed by the neocons to gain the political capital to implement their pre-emptive war policy.

11. Wouldn't they have to have proof?
They don't have it so they can't charge him can they? Of course anyone that has even a smattering of knowledge about the ME knows that Saddam and Osama were enemies.

But don't let that stop anyone. You have to keep the faith.

18. Show me the "posters who have Saddam's cock stuck deeply down
their threats." - Are you saying, here at DU, posters give blow jobs to Saddam?

"let me be the first at DU to break with the wonderfully Saddamistic servitude that many of these Saddam felicitating supporters give their Lord Saddam" - So, are you saying DUers, as a whole, support Saddam Hussein?
