"This is going to be the dominant theme on the Alito nomination until the end of the year-the convergence of a Supreme Court nomination, the Christmas season, and a judge who has a well-staked-out position on support for religious expression," said Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the Christian conservative American Center for Law and Justice and an adviser tapped by the White House to coordinate support for its nominees.

Mr. Sekulow, who is the host of a Christian radio program and often appears on the Christian Broadcasting Network, says he has begun discussing Judge Alito's support for public Christmas displays regularly on his radio broadcast, including reading the Committee for Justice commercial. He said his organization was sending out e-mail messages to 850,000 supporters to urge their support for Judge Alito in the name of saving Christmas as well.

questioning from our Dems. during the hearings. Several of his rulings are truly shocking. I am hoping that there is plenty more out there to be aired. He is not for us commoners. One ruling I read of today concerned a policeman who shot someone climbing over a fence after being called to an address for a possible burglary. The person shot was a very young boy, shot in the head. Bobble Head said the cop had a right to shoot him. That is not the logic of a brilliant man as the repubs are trying to paint him. He has all kinds of sympathy for corps, like they need his protection! Women? Let's keep them in their place, the hussies. Sarcasm of course.
