Recent Mary Mapes / Brent Bozell interview re CBS snafu good viewing.

Haven't seen any comments about the Mary Mapes / Brent Bozell interview recently on C-Span. It was very interesting on several scores. First of all, Mapes, the investigative journalist who found the documents relating to Bush's Nat'l Guard service, still believes the document was authentic, has found examples of proportional spacing etc. during the time span of the documents as explained in her book.

She did a marvelous job of defending her position under intense questioning by Brent Bozell, who is president of or once was president of the Media Reseach Center, a conservative media watchdog so-called to make sure there's media balance.

She corrected him several times during the interview and did not wilt under his questioning.

Anybody else see this? I'd be interested to hear comments about it.

I thought similarly of her ability to hold her own.
