2. A very very BAD idea
If only because it gives Connecticut's REPUBLICAN governor the opportunity to increase the GOP majority in the Senate.

I live in CT and I'd love to get rid of Holy Joe, but not this way.

3. Listening on the cspan site - he's trying to unify Dems to Repubs on Iraq
"We undermine Presidential credibility at our nation's peril".

4. Oh yes
Facing reality and telling the truth is undermining credibility. And here it wasn't there in the first place!

8. "Walk the course together until our mission is completed"
Andrew Krepinevich -
"This war of choice has become a war of necessity"

Note: he implied they will take questions after his part of the speech.

9. Krepinevich - even if wasn't, Iraq is now the center for the war on terror
Admin and critics have underestimated the risks and costs associated with their course of action.

Any withdrawal will create a vacuum that will be filled by the enemy.

Just continuing to say "this will be a long, hard ....blah, blah..."

We need to END talks of any withdrawal. What we need is a strategy for victory - requiring more young Americans to volunteer, war bond drives, raising taxes.

This is a HUGE rah-rah session for MORE INVOLVEMENT in Iraq.
