NBC anchor Williams: Bush administration has "right" to buy media coverage
http://mediamatters.org/items/200512050010

Appearing on the December 4 edition of CNN's Reliable Sources, NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams told host Howard Kurtz that the Bush administration has "the right" to pay a columnist to tout its views in his column. Williams also condoned the "politiciz" of programming on the Public Broadcasting System (PBS).

7. Good catch, it was on Daily Show
He said very boldly that he never offers opinion only news facts. Republicans have short memories when it comes to things they say or promise....

11. Fine, as long as they don't use taxpayers money
and they issue a disclaimer so that people know this is the opinion of a member of the Bush administration.
