1. Last I heard, his lawwyers were still fighting the release of his
medical records. I think all these arguments have to be settled before the trial.

2. Shouldn't he be 'up the river' by now? He advocates that for others,
why not him?

11. Now, wait just a minute
Rush firmly believes in a different set of standards for extremely rich people, and working class individuals. He's being very consistent.

3. He just has to drag it out for another year
After the 2006 Florida governor's race, Jeb can pardon him (he is term limited out).

4. Pardoning Rush may prove to be "unhealthy" for Jeb.
If he has any further political ambitions, that is. It would show him as soft on drugs and crime.

8. Jeb is soft on crime - remember his druggie daughter
& how see ended up in rehab and on probation when most folks would have ended up in jail. She was smoking crack in the rehab center & still go no jail....

9. They should not defend people who would destroy the ACLU
That would be like them defending O'Reilly. Yes, conservatives have rights too, but let someone else step up to the plate to defend a man who, if he had his druthers, would criminalize the ACLU and put all of their members in jail.
