Didn't those two LIARS tell us they had proof Osama Bin Forgotten was behind the 9/11 attacks, shortly after and that they would be showing us the evidence? I don't ever recall seeing that evidence. Anyone else? So no I don't believe Bin Laden was behind the WTC attacks. SHOW ME THE PROOF YOU LIARS!

The Taliban said they would hand over Bin-Laden if the US showed proof that he was behind 9-11. Colin Powell promised to do so, but never did.

I would like to try to draw a line between crazy conspiracy theories and reasonable ones, even though that is objectively not possible.

I have no doubt that bin Laden was responsible. What I have questions about is whether he was aided, perhaps without even his knowledge, by elements in this country. And whether his attack was made more spectacular by actions within this country.

For Chrissake, the hijackers were wired money by the head of Pakistan's ISI, who just happened to be in DC on 9/11, and whose organization had helped the US funnel money to bin Laden when he was fighting the Soviets.

It is pretty well documented that elements of our government knew that bin Laden was going to carry out an attack and did nothing -- whether it was to facilitate it or out of incompetence, we can't say.

But I don't believe in theories like, bin Laden didn't do it; there were no planes, only holograms; there were pods on the planes; missiles fired from the Woolworth bldg; the passengers are living large in Italy, etc etc.

who benefits? PNAC, AIPAC, and the GOP.

makes no sense and is, in fact, an impossibility . . .

like everyone else, I don't know what DID happen on that day . . . but I do know what DIDN'T happen . . . and what didn't happen is what the government says DID happen . . .

the key question that keeps coming back to me is "Why are they lying?" . . . the obvious answer is that they don't want us to know what really happened on 9/11, i.e. they're hiding something . . . much more investigation is needed to find out just what it is that they're covering up . . .

on edit: what happened on 9/11 is, in my view, the KEY issue that leads to everything that's happened since, e.g. the war in Iraq, the Patriot Act, stolen elections, etc. . . and it's an issue that people care passionately about . . . finding the truth about 9/11 will lead to finding the truth about a lot of things . . .
