Umm...a little late perhaps- but proof Bush is drinking again.
I came across this Oct. 30th interview in the NY Times Magazine with Bush's Whitehouse chef Ariel de Guzman. Check out the end of the Q and A section:

Q. What about his drinks?

A. When he asks for a vodka on the rocks, it's our guys who mix it from our own supply that we have to bring all the way around the world with us. Nobody knows that.

Well, I don't know if this was posted some weeks ago, but now I know for sure that the monkey who's running this country is an alchoholic who's drinking again.

1. "VODKA ON THE ROCKS"!!
Edited on Fri Dec-09-05 11:36 PM by zidzi
What's up with that? One of bush's lies is that he quit Drinking at 40 and that was that.

Edit~ I see where they're talking about the old bush..it was really easy to believe they were talking about smirk, though, wasn't it?

20. My guess is that he did quit Drinking at 40...
And started drinking again at 40 + 1 week. The difference is the added DENIAL (as in, "I'll have a vodka and Denial on the rocks, please.) I've seen several live "speeches" where he's obviously drunk - or he needs a full neurological workup, STAT.

Make people believe it. Bush claims he found religion and thus stopped drinking. If Bush lied about that than he really lied about lots of stuff. I don't think Bush found religion at all like he claims. He may have a belief system but not enough to stop drinking like he told people.

9. Thank you.
Some of the other parts of the interview are really something else too. For instance, his chef doesn't even want George to endorse his new book because he thinks it may hurt sales. lol!

snip:

Q. As president, he is not supposed to endorse commercial products, so you should not be too disappointed.

A. I like it that way, also. Everyone is pointing fingers on the president: it's all his fault, it's all his fault. And now, if he would endorse me, people might think that he is endorsing the book, so I would rather not have him be included on the cookbook.

Q. Are you saying his endorsement could actually hurt sales of your book?

A. Yes. For a precaution, I'd rather not have him.

He's talking about George Senior.

And when Bush was president and traveled overseas, did you ever worry that he would be poisoned?

No. Our guys will be in the kitchen, watching the preparation. It's our guys who pick up the plate and serve the food to the president without anyone else touching it.

10. "Drinking again"? When did he ever stop? Who really believes
the drunken monkey ever stopped drinking? Just because he said he did? He lies every time he opens his mouth. The fact that he said he stopped is reason enough to believe he never did, because he always lies.

21. Friend of mine, former waitress, used to serve W bourbon in Texas
...when he was well past 40. They had to give it to him in those red plastic crinkly glasses so people would think it was soda.

About his dad drinking Vodka on the rocks -- Now, I drink very little alcohol so maybe someone can explain something to me -- what the hell is the point to drinking Vodka on the rocks?? Wouldn't it basically taste like a whole lot of nothing? Why not something that actually tastes good, like Maker's Mark or something??

"I imagine you have fed many world leaders."

Answer:
"We ask them first if they are allergic to certain food. For one thing, Prince Bandar of Saudi Arabia - he won't eat shellfish. He's a constant visitor to the residence, and he is a very nice guy."

Hmm...a constant visitor. All of those oil men have to stick together you know, trying to figure out how best to gouge us next.
