Why Dean is Perfection.
Edited on Sat Dec-10-05 02:42 AM by amitten
Come on, you know he is. He has balls, says exactly what he thinks in plain terms, tells the obvious truth, and gives a damn what anyone else has to say about it. That's my kind of Dem. And if you can't take the heat, then you better by-God get outta the kitchen, because the Dems WOKE UP.

Wakey, wakey!

:nuke: :dem:  :hi:  :bounce:

7. In my mind he seems more perfect as he goes.
He is aging like a fine, fine wine. In my opinion, he should have said, "The war in Iraq is unwinnable. We can't win, we won't win, and we need to get out within the next six months. And the taxpayers want their money back."

4. I'll repeat what I've said many times before
Mr Zola is a recovering repub and LOVES Dean. He respects him because he is authentic and says what he means and means what he says. Mr. Zola has also been swayed to Democratic arguments BECAUSE Dr. Dean speaks clealy about the issues.

Edited on Sat Dec-10-05 03:46 AM by FreedomAngel82
I don't know what it is but he seems to know. I think he's doing a pretty good job with being chair. He seems more involved than McAullife. From what I've read McAullife was more about making money than what Dean is doing with politics at the grassroots efforts and sending money to those who need help.

15. And just in this one situation
could the media and the journalists and the political strategists and political commentators and so-called Dem leaders all just shut the hell up about him. Or go to hell. Or something.

Howard bashing is the first thing that turned me against Joe Lieberman. He and his campaign spokespeople were talking so much trash about him that it made me feel like they were criticizing me, personally, for agreeing with a lot of Dr. Dean's ideas.

I'm going to email the DNC right now and tell them Howard speaks for me. NEVER let the truth be subservient to mere politics!!

22. He and Bush say exactly what they believe...
Bush says "stay the course".
Dr Dean says NO to a quick withdrawal ... now that we are in there we must complete the job ---bullshit but i think he means it from the heart.

24. The right wing has most Dem leaders afraid to say what they think,
and reluctant to think what they should.

Dean is not afraid or reluctant. He speaks for me, too.

I think the strangest thing in my lifetime in politics was the Dem reaction to "The Scream."

Very odd.

26. No, he's not
He's not perfect. No one is perfect. We do NOT in any way, shape or form want to frame him as our "perfect" leader. Calling him perfect makes us sound like simpletons, and sets him up for the next time he makes a mistake. (And he will make mistakes, just like every other human)

Even if this was thread was designed to ooze sarcasm, it's still really creepy. :scared:

30. Oh, Please. Dean has some good points but perfect??
And just think many posting this mindset roast all the other Dems for stepping the least way off of their pedestal. Dean is anything but perfect. He is actually quite disconnected from what the party is REALLY doing strategically but that is another story. Either that or he doesn't believe what he is saying.I still support him as he is our chair but I don't like everything he does. Nor should anyone unless you want to be like the other side. The only one that I can think of that isn't dead that might be close to perfection is Maxine Waters.
