4. We can all agree that Bush is not a thinking man.
He doesn't massage the data, wouldn't know how to do it, or where to find it. What he is, is a career private sector CEO who has never really experienced loss or failure, because of all the leveraging he gets from his daddy's connections. That means he sits in the expensive leather chair and lets all the bean counters and idealogical advisors feed him the short notes...actually, it's worse. He doesn't have any bean counters.

6. I agree..."bean counters" replaced by "Spin Meister's".
Idealogical advisor's replaced by evil "puppeteers" wielding their staffs of henchmen.

5. I Took Him 3 Years To Realize This...
Well blow me over with a feather. Sheesh.

There are too many special interests that are making money in Iraq for them to "cut and run"...they haven't milked the U.S. taxpayers enough yet.

There is the military/industrial complex that has a living/breathing test lab in Iraq to test out all their latest things that go boom...more effficient ways of turning human beings into hamburger. And, of course, once they're used, they have to be replaced...not just with one, but with 100. We can't "cut and run" while so many contractors are gaining such great "experience"...who knows we might not have another war for another 10 or 20 or 30 years...gotta make the hay while the sun shines.

Then there's the PNAC'ers who still live with this Americo-centrist world of Risk where their superior "intelligence" and "morals" will rule the day. Somehow, even against their will and culture, we will impose "democracy" on these people like it or not. It might have to take 20 years...an entire generation...clear this one out and then start fresh. They use the Phillipine insurgency, that lasted 40 years, as an example. What they fail to mention is that insurection still continues. And, of course, none of them or their immediate family will have to put their lives on the line...they're safely hidden inside the AEI.

Lastly, there's the wingnuts...the kool-aid drinkers who are so conflicted with the rhetoric that they honestly believe we need to have more Americans killed to justify the ones who have been killed already. Their so confused and ignorant...and perfect foils to distract and rile up.

Tweety owes many of us a lot of explanations...his spinning for this regime makes him as complicit in the unpopularity of this war as anyone else. He was the asshat who lauded "Mission Accomplished" and couldn't get enough of booosh's codpiece. Now he's let down? And, of course, he's blaming the Democrats. Shameless corporate media whore.
