Review of Santorim's book, It Takes A Family..."Excremental"!
Not earth shattering but I thought it worth the post. Post from "sparky" on Amazon. There are more reviews there for additional distractions.

"I do think this book will be a valuable edition for a historian trying to piece together the fall of American power in the 21st Century. Pennsylvania gave us Benjamin Franklin and this?

If Santorum actually believed any part of his made to order religio-fascist text--which is blatant hypocrisy and doublespeak as cynically written as any screed from Hearst--he would require inpatient mental therapy. The truth is that this is a modern day Elmer Gantry without public speaking skills or the tent fire. It is an apology for a culture of selfish excess disguised as a religious tome--as fake as the stained glass look of the cover. Santorum and his ilk are finally awakening the ire of America with their crude excesses, destructive policies and untruths, but unfortunately the call came in Mid-Apocalypse."

1. Oh boo hoo.
"Lefties are bashing this book! Waaaah!"

It's not like every cristo-fascist in the world doesn't use Amazon to bash any left-leaning book that comes out. Oh no sir. Christo-fascists are ABOVE that.

Love the reviews. It needs some "My Pet Goat" action. DUers?

2. I'm especially fond of Amazon reviews that start with "I've never seen...
/read/listened to this but I think...." and the slew of "You should get a bible instead," stuff. Nice. Very useful. How exactly can you RE-view something you haven't viewed?

I wish at this point I could Clockwork Orange people and program them to MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS.
