Lets forget about the dead, dying and injured for a moment
And think about the one's who are still living. From our soldier participants to the innocent Iraqi. A lot of the Soldiers returning will suffer from the mental aspect of war and also the medical conditions. A lot of Depleted Uranium has been effectively dispersed throughout Iraq that there has to be a lot of problems from it. What about the Iraqi people who have had to endure lifetime's under one tyrant or another. From the pictures I see of Iraq is it cities looked not much different from ours, in fact I have seen what were beautiful building before our invasion and subsequent destruction. Think about the Iraq people having to live hand to mouth, being hurt daily and few doctors or hospitals and little medicine. I'm sure there will be a lot of empty stomachs at bedtime tonight. For many their homes have been invaded and damaged if not out right destroyed, very little water, electricity or working sewer. No place to work or very little and even if you had any money there are few stores. Just might get your ass shot off or blown up getting there. I feel so sorry for these people who didn't even have a chance, diplomatically or militarily. None of them deserve this wrath we have unleashed upon them... I cry now.

3. In the eyes of the people through out the world we must deliver
one george w bush to the hague. I read somewhere for some reason that can't happen, well I say we change whatever that doesn't allow this. The people of the world deserve nothing less.

2. We are going to have to live with the broken bodies and minds
for decades to come. The Iraqis will have the additional burden of dealing with a broken country.

4. But..but..we have to stick around to "provide stability".
Just ask the politicians and generals who are quite adamant about killing more, maiming more, ruining more lives to cover there sorry asses and give us "peace with honor".

5. I get angry now
Bush is an evil dictator in the same sense that he calls Chavez an evil dictator. What's good for the goose...

6. thank you
It is so very important to remember this! I doubt if anyone of us can even begin to fathom the tragedy and suffering that has befallen the Iraqi people. Out of the frying pan (Saddam) right into the fire (US occupation) It is an absolute disgrace.

And there is no calculating the number of people who will be effected by PTSD both here and in Iraq. Some Vietnam Vets are suffering from PTSD over thirty years later. Nobody can count how many family members and friends will be effected also for generations.

7. The repercussions of our actions are going to be felt for years
generations actually. I've said it before, but sometimes I wish I were religious and could believe in punishment for the way we lived in life, because if there was there would be a special hell reserved for anyone even remotely connected to this.

8. The American that all the good people worked and sacrificed
so much for is gone for the foreseeable future. Our pride demands we march the war criminals off to the world court.

The question is how can we help...and is there a movement being organizied to help.

Let's not let them come back and face this alone...that happened before and should never happen again.

For the Iraqis and our brothers and sisters over there, we need to heed Mother Jones, pray for the dead and fight like hell for the living.
