Will the Sunnis follow our example?

After the votes are counted in the upcoming Iraqi election and it becomes apparent that the Shi’a has secured the majority party status; do you think the Sunnis will follow the example of how we, Democrats, reacted when the 2000 election was stolen in Florida?

Is it possible that Bush and Republicans think that, as we did, the Sunnis will just go home and only grouse about the unfairness of it all for the next 5 years?

1. First, there will be questions about hanging and pregnant chads...

Then protests that the elections were Diebold-ed to favor the Shi'a. The the INORC (Iraqi National Opinion Research Center) will analyze the ballot results to determine the true winner...and which will prove to be inconclusive and numberous articles with be published in the newspaper to confuse the populace even more.

Of course, the Sunnis have more guns than most NRA members ever dreamed of owning.

No, really, I think the Sunnis will be pretty pissed off and the violence will escalate even more.
