Lieberman Is Being Set Up To Be The Fall Guy
What Jomentum does not see is that when he takes over as Sec. of Defense, the entire Iraq war will become his problem. Bush will lump EVERY problem in Iraq on Joe's lap. Conveniently, the Republicans will have a Democrat to blame for the Iraq war mess.

1. Don't worry. Joe won't make it.

He's actually being used right now--as a "Dem" who isn't against the war. I don't think they'd dare put him in as SecDef. That'd infuriate the so-called "base".

5. Agree. The bushies would never let Leiberman into the nefarious inner
circle. If Leiberman can't be trusted by the Dems, he also can't be trusted by the bush gang.

2. Is he not complicit in setting himself up?
He can say "no way." But will he?

3. I want my damn vote back from 2000
Loserman, I mean Lieberman tricked me into voting for him as V.P.
I wonder if Gore knew it would come to this?

4. Yep. Blame it on the "Dems". He'll end up like McNamara.
No sympathy for Liebs from me.

6. I think Joe has backed himself into a corner
but I don't think he'll take the Sec of Defense position. Why should he? If his handlers & advisors give him any decent advise even Joe has to know that he will put himself into a very unpopular position that will not only keep him from ever running for office again in Connecticut but probably president as well.

He's got a cush job as senator with an almost guarentee re-election in 2006. Why would he ditch that all for a dead end job?

Seeing a coming disaster, the pukes will become the peace party, and leave Joe and Hillary, etc out there mongering for more war
