But, taken as two separate issues, the latter is far more important.

8. You're probably right
In all the years of the Democratic majority in congress, the death penalty was never abolished.

But it's really the only hope we have.

The GOP is the party of war, death, and torture. And as long as they remain in power, our national policy will be one of war, death, and torture.

It was how the Republicans were able to play their dirty tricks on Michael Dukakis in '88.
