How much ya wanna bet that Bush's ratings are artificially raised in 4 wks
You can just see it coming. They were all popping wood this morning over his rating rising majesticaly to 42% approval rating, still a horrid number for any president ever. Wow. But there's a sense of cockiness splattered all over these chickenshits faces the last few days that's a little unsettling. It's almost as if they secretly know that Bush's poll numbers are going to be mysteriously rising.

In the last 24 hours, the campaign of lies that's going on about the war and about the way of life in Iraq is on a monumental level. The propaganda about the upcoming elections and the bullshit about the "wonderful improvements" on the streets of Iraq is absolutely obscene. You know damn well that Bushco is going ALL-OUT this week in a last-ditch effort to raise his brutal ratings. And if they can't raise them with propaganda, then they'll do what they know how to do best...they'll cheat and raise the polls themselves. They're just too damn cocky right now. Anyone notice that? You watch, they're gonna have his ratings rising a little bit every day, one way or the other until he's up there in the high 40's or even 50's. Wait and see. Crooked lying fucks.

1. I am expecting this.
The media has been too positive lately. Suddenly, everything is going well in Iraq, according to the MSM.

4. Yeah, MSM has definitely been put on notice
that they better start showing Iraq to be a warm fuzzy place...or else.

Methinks oodles of whining Republicans have been collectively crying to the press lately about them "only showing the bad news out of Iraq". I also think these same thinktank Repukes now have their studios set up in full force in "Hollywood Iraq" where they can give the press all kinds of nice little interviews & images of well-being straight from "Iraqis".

3. The raise in Bush's approval ratings is because....
he hasn't done anything UNBELIEVABLY STUPID AND HORRIBLE lately. It works for all Presidents.
Their ratings go up when the are doing nothing, or at least not in the news.

6. Should have been down because of his Holiday Cards
If the support numbers come from his base.

They were all mad because he used Happy Holidays on his cards he sent out.

I'm still mad about the fresh roses they put on the trees every day.

A real let them eat cake moment.

7. I wouldn't say 42% is a horrid number for any president ever
Clinton, Nixon, Ford, Johnson, Truman, Bush I and Bush II, Reagan have all been under 42%, but having said that, I do think Bush could get up to the mid 40's. Remember too his numbers were pretty stagnant for about two years at around 45-50 percent.
