What the fuck was with Arnold getting Tookie's hopes up?

I had my hopes up for the guy and I feel sick to my stomach now. I can't imagine how sick Tookie feels.

You have to know Arnold never intended to to do anything from the start. Now Tookie has 12 hours to mentally prepare himself for this. He is probably still in the first stage of accepting Death. Talk about torturing a person's mind. Shit, get someones hopes up then take any hope for life away in the last 12 hours. Ouch!

I just feel sick to my stomach.

5. He couldn't announce until...
He had the perfect reason for turning him down. Like everything else Repugs do, this was purely a political decision... How do I justify that which I already know I am going to do? That was the only factor in the equation. Well, maybe there might have been some consideration of maximizing the squirm factor.

This is not going to go well.
