Election in Iraq. What the hell are they voting on?
Edited on Mon Dec-12-05 11:06 PM by Blue_Roses
I am so baffled by this election in Iraq. I have tried to follow what the hell they are voting on and how can they vote on anything plausible in this chaotic country. Who is controlling the election process and isn't this really a farce? How can they have a "democratic" election process when there is so much poverty and unemployment? Anderson Cooper is reporting that there is real progress. Maybe so, but I still wonder :wtf:

1. I believe they're voting on the actual people to represent them.
Sort of like we vote for out Representatives and Senators.

5. You never know with the Bush Inc. criminals
How can they let the Iraqi's have an honest election? An honest election would produce the opposite result to the one that Bush Inc. want.

8. I read here in the last couple of days a few interesting posts.
Seems they are having many problems with voter registrations ie:
People registered 3 and 4 times
Entire family's being denied voter registration because they have the same names
Problems with counting methods

This doesn't even bring into account the war zone that Iraq is.
