The Army meets with Iraqis every weekend to compensate them for grievances

Our tax dollars at work: In Beiji, Iraq, Sgt. 1st Class Jeff Newkirk pays an Iraqi man who was accidentally shot during a raid on his home. The Army meets with Iraqis every weekend in Beiji to compensate them for grievances.

3. It very much is
not a joke. This is the way we are handling injuries to individuals and property damage we cause, as well. We are buying public opinion in every way imaginable.

5. Are American dollars the standard currency there?

the U.S. dollar rulz. Maybe you have read about the large quantities of cash that has gone missing there. All the way around, it's bizarre.

8. A lot of the reconstruction
is using U.S. cash payments. It's really an invitation to abuse. I am not aware of whether we operated this way in Vietnam.
