Tookies execution watch is LIVE on KPFA - Pacifica Network.

I love Pacifica, and I know they are trying to be upbeat... but it's not working very well (in my mind at least). The NAACP spokesperson has been on as well as MANY anti - DP advocates.

I'm gonna have problems sleeping tonight.

it's a sad night when the state murders someone ... and at an appointed time.

Really interesting to hear the speech of Mike Farrell.

It's amazing that Williams is getting death on what appears to be some real questionable evidence.

I read where the Cal Supreme Court voted 4-2 to uphold the death sentence. You'd think that in matters of life and death that it would have to be unanimous. Two supreme court justices voted to take another look? Yet, they're murdering the guy anyway tonight.

3. good stuff -- speeches from outside San Quentin

some good stuff being carried on KPFA.

Mike Farrell was real good.

Apparently, another appeal based on another witness coming forward has been sent to the Governor. They said they are going to read it at the watch there.

Joan Baez is on there now, singing.
