Prisoners are aloud to vote in Iraq.
What does that say about our country, when we don't do the same? I think we even take this further and exclude former rehabilitated prisoners.

1. Yup, one felony and your voting options are gone for good....
with few (usually expensive) options to get it back.

it was prisoners that had not been convicted.

5. Thanks for the clarification. Still they must be held for something
and with enough evidence to hold them rather than releasing the. So, at the point of conviction they would lose that right?

7. Off topic I guess, but I heard that any candidates had to be approved
by the U.S. Government before they could get on the ballot. Is that true?
