damn, WHY DID I TURN ON SPRINGER TODAY
There are people trying to relate the Wiliams execution to abortion or Terry Schivo, and he takes it like it is a legitimate point

When he brought up they should put executions on the air, a caller said then they should put abortions on the air as they occur

WHY doesn't springer point out the difference???

An abortion is a private issue between a woman and her doctor, while an execution is done by the state in the publics name

To even allow this comparision is an outrage

1. I am furious with him right now...
he should not let people get away with saying "pro-life", they are anti-choice. The issue is about the ability to exercise our right to choose.

3. Yeah, i was reaching for my phone to make that exact point!!
Abortion is between a woman and her dr., the public has nothing to do with the decision or the procedure.

and then there are people who are able to seperate and understand it is a different issue. I agree with you about his response.

Personally, I start streaming Jay Marvin. I know there are a few around here that don't hold him in the highest esteem, but I've heard Jerry state some glaring mistakes and be kind of weak at times. JMHO.

7. Really? Why not?
I'm just curious.

I listened to him when he was substituting for Springer a few weeks ago and thought he was great. He was talking about Gitmo and really brought the proper amount of outrage to the subject. He also took on some redneck rightwinger who called in and tore him to pieces. He reminded me a little of Mike Malloy.

8. Dunno for certain
Something about getting in trouble with the local police and switching positions or not having a backbone. Also, some won't let him toss the baggage of his time at WLS. I followed his blog during that time and it was obvious he finally felt like a truly free man. The WLS job with his RW partner as well as the pressures from management were bringing him down physically and emotionally.

I like him though...alot!! He did a great job when he filled in for Springer, IMO. I was thrilled to be able to turn on my little portable radio in the car and hear him on my local station.

9. Ahh, ok, thanks.
Your link is bad by the way. It's got an extra "http://" at the beginning.

I'm listening now. Thanks.

6. I think he's on fire today!
I don't usually care for his show, but today is an exception. He's much less wishy-washy than usual.
