My "Falafel Bill O'Reilly" Letter makes it to print!

What is it with Fox News hate monger Falafel Bill O'Reilly? He is under the delusion that Christmas is under attack by insidious secular humanists because some people say, “Happy Holidays” instead of “Merry Christmas.” Many fundamentalist Christian leaders have taken up his cause as well. The hypocrisy would be shameful if it were not so laughable. For weeks, the Fox News Web site advertised gifts for the upcoming holiday season and for holiday trees. And, decades ago, when “Happy Holidays” first became common in America, it was the same fundamentalist Christians that promoted saying that instead of “Merry Christmas” because they did not like the fact that Christmas was associated with such crass commercialism. I guess O’Reilly and these socalled Christian leaders need to rally their followers by promoting Christianity as victims. Who is crass now?
