After Texas, which states have had the highest number of executions?
And how has the crime rate been in these states?

I remember some years back reading a news item how Florida and another state - do not remember - sent representatives to Texas to learn how to be more efficient in this area. I think that this was before, or right after the 2000 elections as I was thinking how mama Bush has to be proud in getting her two sons to be efficient killers.

4. Thank you. Also about murder rate
Average of murder rates among death penalty states in 2004: 5.1
Average of murder rates among non-death penalty states in 2004: 2.9
(Averages are obtained by simply averaging the murder rates for the respective groups of states.
