So * took his troop number recommendations from Tommy Franks

or at least that is what he told Brian Williams. Franks was sucking up to Rummy at the time. And Rummy, who thinks he's Mars on earth, was jonesing to create a Leaner Meaner Fighting Machine. Bad judgment all around, don't you think?

CIA reports later backed Kerry's version of what happened at Tora Bora - now WHY would Gen. Franks LIE about what happened at Tora Bora for Bush?

Why did the media LET FRANKS LIE FOR BUSH about Tora Bora, when there had already been published reports that backed up Kerry BEFORE THE ELECTION?
