Does anybody know of any right wing editorial cartoons
that depicted our soldiers or veterans in a pro-Bush or pro-Iraq War fashion?

1. Don't know of any Right wing cartoons, really
I've seen a few, but don't remember where to find them or what they are called.

All I know is, they aren't funny.

Right wing humour isn't really funny at all. Its just vile, bitter, and usually way too over the top.

2. Ramirez, Stayskal and Asay
Ramirez used to be out of the LA Times but I think they just fired him. However his toons are syndicated. I despise his message but he's a good artist. Stayskal is based in Florida, sucky content, sucky technique. Asay is based in Denver. Self-righteous right-wing crap. Can't think off hand of toons specifically showing soldiers. slate.msn.com has a a cartoon roundup every day that links to works of well-know cartoonists.

3. Don't know of any sites that feature right wing cartoons, but check
out this link.

There are a few mixed in here, but you just have to look for them.

4. I saw one in USA Today the other day
It wasn't specifically about vets though. It was by Ramirez and it had a crowd of people wearing t-shirts saying anti-war messages like "Bring our troops home" and also in the crowd was an arab looking guy with a t-shirt that said the sme type of thing and one of the other chcarcters is looking at him and says "Zaqarwi??" In other words the terrorist was part of the demonstration in the cartoon.

5. Thanks, everybody...
That gives me a place to start.

I'm looking for some ammo to use against rightwingers who are now expressing "outrage" over Don Wright's Iwo Jimo cartoon in the Palm Beach Post.

6. Scott Stantis in the Birmingham News
He also writes the strip "Prickly City" which is a third rate response to Doonesbury and "The Buckets". Daryl Cagle's site carries it and a number of others (http://cagle.msnbc.com/politicalcartoons/). Actually, he's pretty conservative too.
