Torture? Pre-emptive war? We're the moral/cultural relativists?
But, but, but...everything changed on 9/11.

But, but, but...marriage has always been between a man and a woman.

Has anyone heard this foundational schism in RW thinking discussed in anything approaching a mainstream setting? An issues based TV chat show? Would it be so hard for lefties w/ face time/column inches at their disposal to bring this up and hammer it repeatedly?

It's all I got for now, but this has been bugging the the living crap out of me.

1. it's legitimate to discuss the
character of republicans -- and the philosophies they present.

i don't know -- i've been reading to many regarding ''political purists'' -- you're on to something -- but i can't wrap my mind around it.
